Choreography, costume, and dance performance: Sara Baird
Original composition and music performance: Meg Mulhearn

Baird and Mulhearn explore cyclical patterns and employ metamorphic transformations in their new collaborative work Godai. Through music and movement, they investigate the Greek goddess Hecate’s triadic nature and the Japanese Buddhist philosophy of godai (五⼤大) or “the five greats” which include earth, water, fire, wind, and the void. Godai is a unique mythological tale created for the modern age.
